Through the success of our 2022 BUILD Black Wealth Incubator Program, we were excited to bring it back this year. Black resilience is needed now more than ever, and to remain a resilient community, we must ensure access to the resources we deserve. Our BUILD Black Wealth Incubator Program was designed to provide support, improve skills, and create capacity for Black-led businesses and organizations. In 2022, we received hundreds of applications and injected funding into the Black community by giving 20 Black-led businesses/organizations $1,000. With the success of our first cohort, we were excited to do it once again in 2023. BUILD was once again overwhelmed with the hundreds of applications received for this program. This year, we increased the funding up to $3,000 and direct access to our workshops for this cohort. While the decision was very hard, BUILD is excited to announce the list of winners of our 2023 BUILD Black Wealth Incubator Program.

BUILD is proud to continue celebrating the Black excellence within our community and supporting these 18 Black-led businesses and organizations. From Black-led, LGBTQ-led, and woman-owned to clothing, sports and recreation, food, performance arts, media companies, music, and transportation. This proves that the Black community continues to offer the resources WE NEED! Take a minute and follow these businesses and organizations on their social media to learn more about what they have to offer.
Continue to follow BUILD and stay tapped in on our upcoming events. We look forward to creating additional opportunities to connect the Black community to low-barrier funding opportunities in the future.
Remember, the Black community always has had all the resources WE NEED!
